1. Possible resorbing supernumerary tooth in anterior second quadrant
A localized zone of increased calcification is present in the apical region of site 11. Due to motion artifacts, this area cannot be definitively assessed. However, this may represent a resorbing supernumerary tooth, which is a nonsignificant incidental finding in the absence of any symptoms. The entity appears to have impinged upon the maxillary incisive canal slightly.
Generalized periodontal bone loss
Generalize mild horizontal periodontal bone loss is present. Localized severe bone loss appears to be present at the 13, 16, and 32.
Axial views of mandible demonstrating severe motion artifacts
These axial cross sectional images demonstrate the extensive motion artifacts are present in this scan. The anterior fourth quadrant in the region of the canines and premolars is nondiagnostic.
Axial views of maxilla demonstrating motion artifacts
These axial cross sectional images demonstrate the excessive motion artifacts are present in this scan. The mid-first quadrant is nondiagnostic.
2. Mild maxillary sinus mucositis
Mild mucositis is present on the floors of both maxillary sinuses. This mucositis has not had any effect on the surrounding structures, and is a nonsignificant incidental finding.
