Evaluation of site 16
Approximately 7.2mm of bone height is available at 5.0mm buccolingual bone width at site 16. The bone graft at this site has an irregular shape. Of particular note is the palatal aspect of the graft, which is surroundded by a sinus loculation that is filled with soft tissue, which reduces the available bone for implant placement at this site.
A 3D volume rendering video of this area was produced in order to better demonstrate the topology of the sinus floor in this region.
Axial views of mid-first quadrant
These axial cross sectional images demonstrate the sinus loculation that wraps around the mesial and palatal surfaces of the bone graft at site 16.
Sagittal views of mid-first quadrant
These sagittal cross sectional images demonstrate the normal appearances of teeth 15 and 17, as well as the sinus loculation that extends into the interradicular region between tooth 15 and the bone graft at site 16.
